  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
For the Toppings
  • 50 grams roasted cashews
  • 10 grams coriander/cilantro leaves chopped
For the Base
  • 200 grams jasmine rice
  • 200 grams steamed or fresh veg

How to Make Thai Sweet Chilli Beef Bowls
  1. Begin by heating a splash of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until it turns translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Now, introduce the minced garlic and beef mince to the pan. Cook and stir until the beef is browned and cooked through, around 6-8 minutes.
  3. Pour in the sweet chili sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, rice vinegar, and lime juice. Stir to ensure the beef is well-coated.
  4. Let the mixture cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  5. Take your fragrant jasmine rice and spoon it into bowls. Top with the saucy beef, then sprinkle with roasted cashews and chopped coriander.
  6. Accompany your bowls with steamed or fresh vegetables for added color and nutrition.
