- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8 inch baking dish by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium mixing bowl until it’s completely liquid.
- Combine the soft brown sugar with the melted butter, stirring until you achieve a smooth, glossy mixture.
- Incorporate the large egg and vanilla paste into the butter-sugar blend and mix well.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour, ground cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, black pepper, baking powder, and salt, stirring gently until just blended.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 28 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before slicing into 16 pieces.
