How to Make Sourdough Dinner Rolls
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the warm milk, sourdough starter, melted butter, sugar, and egg white until well blended.
- Gently mix in the sea salt and bread flour until you form a cohesive dough.
- Sprinkle the active instant yeast over the surface of the dough and knead for about 5-10 minutes.
- Place the kneaded dough in a warm spot, covered with a damp cloth, and allow it to rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
- Gently punch down the dough to release air and shape it into 12 equal rolls.
- Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again for about 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
