How to Make Sourdough Dinner Rolls
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the warm milk, sourdough starter, melted butter, sugar, and egg white until well blended.
  2. Gently mix in the sea salt and bread flour until you form a cohesive dough.
  3. Sprinkle the active instant yeast over the surface of the dough and knead for about 5-10 minutes.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a warm spot, covered with a damp cloth, and allow it to rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
  5. Gently punch down the dough to release air and shape it into 12 equal rolls.
  6. Cover the rolls with a cloth and let them rise again for about 30-45 minutes.
  7. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
