How to Make Sichuan Chilli Prawns
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the prawns with the soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb those rich flavors.
  2. In another bowl, mix the plain flour, Sichuan peppercorns, chopped garlic, sliced ginger, and dried chillies.
  3. Take each marinated prawn and generously coat it in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the coated prawns and fry until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, remove the prawns from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.
