How to Make Sichuan Chilli Prawns
- In a mixing bowl, combine the prawns with the soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to absorb those rich flavors.
- In another bowl, mix the plain flour, Sichuan peppercorns, chopped garlic, sliced ginger, and dried chillies.
- Take each marinated prawn and generously coat it in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Carefully add the coated prawns and fry until crispy and golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the prawns from the pan and let them drain on paper towels.
