- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Prepare the baking sheet by lining it with foil and placing a baking rack on top.
- Season the chicken thighs with garlic powder, kosher salt, and fresh cracked pepper. Place them skin-side up on the baking sheet.
- Bake the chicken for approximately 35 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Sauté sliced shallots until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in orange marmalade and balsamic vinegar, allowing the mixture to simmer for 3 minutes.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and brush each piece with about 1 tablespoon of the prepared glaze.
- Return the glazed chicken to the oven set to broil for 5 minutes until the glaze bubbles and caramelizes slightly.
- Serve warm and drizzle with additional glaze.
