How to Make Savory Marinated Tofu
  1. Press the extra-firm tofu for at least 15 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, minced garlic, ginger, and neutral oil until well combined.
  3. Slice the pressed tofu into desired sizes, place in marinade, and let sit for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Heat another tablespoon of neutral oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the marinated tofu to the pan, cooking for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally to cook evenly.
