Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl: whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt until well mixed.
  3. Cut in the cold salted butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In another bowl, mix together 1 cup of cold buttermilk, 1 large egg, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar until just combined.
  5. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead a few times.
  7. Roll to about ¾ inch thick and cut into biscuits using a biscuit cutter or glass.
  8. Place cut biscuits on a baking sheet and brush the tops with melted salted butter.
  9. Drizzle honey over the biscuits and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  10. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
