Method
 

Preparation
  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add sage leaves and salt to the melted butter, stirring gently and cooking until fragrant.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Spread sage butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Layer Fontina and goat cheese on the unbuttered sides of half the bread slices.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by topping with remaining bread, buttered side up.
  7. Cook in the skillet until golden brown and cheese melts, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
