How to Make Rosemary-Parmesan Snowflake Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the softened butter in a mixing bowl until it's light and fluffy.
  3. Add the flour, Parmesan cheese, minced rosemary, black pepper, sea salt, lemon zest (if using), and cayenne (if using) gradually to the butter. Mix until well combined.
  4. Roll the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
  5. Cut out snowflake shapes using your favorite cookie cutters.
  6. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool the cookies on a wire rack before serving.
