Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your cake pans by greasing them.

  3. Mix together orange juice, buttermilk, unsalted butter, granulated sugar, orange zest, vanilla extract, and eggs in another bowl.

  6. For the Frosting: Beat unsalted butter in a mixing bowl until creamy and smooth.
