How to Make Mozzarella-Stuffed Pretzel Bites
- Preheat your oven according to the pizza dough instructions.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut it into small squares, roughly 2-3 inches each.
- Place a halved mozzarella stick right in the center of each square.
- Fold the dough over the cheese, pinching the edges tightly to seal.
- Boil a large pot of water and carefully add in the baking soda.
- Drop the dough bites into the boiling water for 30 seconds.
- Remove the bites from the boiling water using a slotted spoon.
- Brush each bite with the beaten egg.
- Sprinkle them generously with pretzel or flaky sea salt.
