Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in peas, carrots, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Boil potatoes in salted water until soft, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Layer the beef mixture in ramekins and top with mashed potatoes. Spread to seal the edges.
  6. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese if desired and bake for 20 minutes until tops are golden.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.
