How to Make
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the frozen peas and carrots, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Allow this mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil the chopped potatoes in salted water until soft, around 15-20 minutes. Drain and prepare to mash.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until creamy and smooth.
- Layer the beef mixture in ramekins or a baking dish, then top each with a generous scoop of creamy mashed potatoes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mashed potatoes.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
