Preparation
- Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Add fresh rosemary and let it steep for 30 minutes. Strain the syrup and allow to cool.
- Mix tequila, coconut milk, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and cooled rosemary simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Rim your glass with coarse sea salt, if desired. Moisten the rim with lime juice and dip into the salt.
- Serve the margarita by pouring the mixture into your prepared glass. Garnish with a sprig of candied rosemary.
