  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 large Large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
For the Color
  • 1 drop Gel Food Coloring pink
For Topping
  • Sprinkles or Edible Glitter optional
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Drizzle

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and salt into the bowl. Mix well until everything is well combined.
  4. Whisk together the baking powder and flour in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gradually, stirring until just combined.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal portions and mix gel food coloring into one portion.
  7. Scoop small amounts of both doughs and place them together on the baking sheet, swirling gently.
  8. Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool the cookies on a wire rack before drizzling melted chocolate on top and adding sprinkles.
