  • 10.5 tablespoons Unsalted butter At room temperature
  • 0.5 cup Icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Earl Grey extract
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Fine sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons Earl Grey leaves

Method
 

Making the Cookies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream the butter and icing sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the Earl Grey extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and fine sea salt, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Fold in the Earl Grey leaves gently.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Flatten the balls slightly using a fork or the palm of your hand.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
