Cooking Instructions
  1. Season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat the sesame oil and vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken thighs, skin-side down, until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Mix the soy sauce, gochujang, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic in a bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet and bring it to a simmer.
  6. Reduce the heat and cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry, then add it to the sauce to thicken if needed.
  8. Serve with optional toasted sesame oil and red pepper flakes.
