How to Make Crispy Turkish Cigars with Halloumi and Feta
- Prepare the workspace: Lay out your phyllo pastry sheets on a clean surface.
- Chop and mix: Finely chop the parsley, then combine it with the crumbled halloumi and feta in a bowl.
- Layer the pastry: Take one phyllo pastry sheet and lightly brush it with sunflower oil. Then, place another sheet on top.
- Fill and roll: Spoon a portion of the cheese mixture at one end of the pastry and roll it up.
- Heat the oil: In a deep pan, heat the sunflower oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
- Fry until golden: Carefully fry the cigars in batches for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
