How to Make Creamy Pesto Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat for about 2 minutes until shimmering.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked through, approximately 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, pesto, mustard, and lemon juice. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve alongside crusty buttered bread.
