  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter at room temperature
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 large Egg large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
For the Cocoa Mixture
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa Powder
For the Peanut Butter Swirl
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
For Topping
  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt Flakes
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the peanut butter and chocolate chips until swirls form.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  8. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt flakes on top of each mound.
  9. Bake for 12 minutes or until edges are set and golden brown.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
