  • 1 cup Soy sauce
  • 1 cup Chicken broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
For the Stir-Fry
  • 3 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 1 pound Green beans fresh, ends snapped off
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil until smooth.
  2. In a large pan or wok, add the peanut oil over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Toss in the green beans, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes, until bright and tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce mixture over the beans and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
