- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.

- Pour in the tomato purée and chopped tomatoes, mixing well.
- Stir in the fresh thyme and baked beans, combining all ingredients.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
