How to Make Brown Butter Coffee Crumb Cake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  2. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, and milk in a separate bowl until smooth and well blended.
  4. Incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients slowly, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the browned salted butter until it’s fully incorporated.
  6. Mix the crumb topping by combining brown sugar, all-purpose flour, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  7. Cut the softened butter into the crumb mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  8. Layer half of the cake batter into the prepared dish, then sprinkle half of the crumb topping evenly over the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and crumb topping.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool the cake for about 15 minutes in the pan before slicing and serving.
  11. Optional: Drizzle with the glaze for an extra touch of sweetness.
