How to Make Black Pepper Cauliflower
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Toss the cauliflower florets in a bowl with oil, soy sauce, ketchup, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, and cornstarch.
- Spread the coated cauliflower on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for about 25-28 minutes.
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic, ginger, and dried red chilies for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the chopped red onion and celery to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the soy sauce, maple syrup, additional black pepper, white pepper, cornstarch, and water.
- Combine the baked cauliflower with the sauce in the pan and gently toss to coat.
- Serve the dish garnished with sliced green onion and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
