Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Stir until mixed well.
  3. Add the cold, sliced unsalted butter and mix until crumbly, resembling coarse sand.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, cold heavy cream, and egg until a dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until about 1 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes.
  6. Prepare the chocolate filling by melting the unsalted butter and mixing with powdered sugar, cocoa, and chopped dark chocolate.
  7. Place a small dollop of the chocolate filling in the center of each scone shape. Fold over the dough and seal the edges.
  8. Bake the scones for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
